(skull with anemia)

See that sponginess at the back of the skull? Yeah. 80% of the people in Copan showed signs of this, which means that Copan was unable to provide the needed materials for them to survive. The Mayan's were probably very much
into harvesting and farming their crops, so it would be likely that they had over farmed. If you over farm an area, than it will get eroded and probably
unutilizable
unutilizable for crop growing any more. If all of that happened, they wouldn't be able go gather enough iron, protien, or other vital items to live. They would have died from anemia, just like 80 % of the population. The remaining 20% probably got frightened that they would meet the same end and fled to Chichen Itza. Here's proof of why they fled quickly: if they had done it gradually, they would have finished the alter they had been building for a noble king. But, they put a date on an unfinished side, and fled. All of this proves that my idea might have happened.

This is a great paragraph. I like it Jacky! :D
You could improve your theory by leaving out the part about the spongy skulls, which don't have anything to do with erosion.
I like your idea but if they over croped r u saying they would have too much food?
If they overcroped how would that affect the crops?
makes sense
HEY never mind about my commment on urs cuz ur explained it to me
Good idea. That makes sense because of the 80% of skulls
when you overcrop, you rip up the soil and erode it so that you can't plant any more because it is unsuitable to plant in.
RAOUL-- the spongy skulls represent that they overcropped and didn't havve enough iron to survive cause all of their crops with iron were gone
